This bike, named the TI Boxer, was the result of an accident at 70mph on ice. The bike was utterly totalled with the only salvageable parts being the engine, wheels and forks. Using this as a base, the guys at Team Incomplete set about creating the most advanced BMW Café Racer we’ve ever seen.

This bike started life as a 1986 Honda VF1000R although it would have been hard to guess given the modifications to the bike. The lower fairings have been removed and the remaining body work has been sanded back and given and eye catching distressed paint job.

Michael Mundy is the owner of Steel Bent Customs based out of Oldsmar, Florida. His garage has a track record for building bikes that are the distillation of modern café racers, I know that term is over used nowadays but it used to refer to bikes that were bought as stock, stripped back as much as possible to save weight and then modified only in ways that would increase performance.
