Honda CX500 cafe racer conversions are becoming more and more popular, the unusual, shaft-drive bike’s from Honda never really saw huge commercial success when they were first released so it’s nice to see them having a renaissance of sorts in the modern day.
This bike started life as a 1992 Ducati 900TT, already a serious bike in it’s own right. Interestingly, the first thing Rad Ducati did was add a modified Yamaha TZ 250 GP solo seat and modified Yamaha TZ 250 GP front fairings. Tell this to any hardcore Ducatiphile and they’ll be frothing at the mouth but the end result is superb.
The bike you see here is the Krugger Goodwood, it was built by Krugger over a period of 6 months and when I say he built it, I really mean it. He created everything from the one-off custom frame to the…
Okay so this is the Icon Sheene Motorcycle and I’m going to get all the numbers out of the way first. 52 of these bikes will be built (each to order), each bike produces 250hp and 133ft/lbs torque from a hand-built, turbo-charged 1400cc Suzuki engine.

Nortorious is one of those highly unusual custom café racers that only comes along once in a blue moon. Although it looks fairly straight forward it’s actually a turbo-charged engineering tour de force featuring more custom engine components than any other bike we’ve ever posted on Silodrome.
I love bikes with a back story. And this bike, Christine, has a hell of a story to tell. She started life as a stock 1998 Honda VTR1000F before being involved in a traffic accident so severe that it likely would have been the death-knell for most motorcycles.
There aren’t many red blooded men in the world who don’t find this sort of Star Wars based information fascinating. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever met a guy who I couldn’t talk about cars, women or Star Wars with.
These phenomenal sketches show the CMS detector elements of the CERN Hadron Collider, in the style of Leonardo Da Vinci. There’s no artist name available, though whoever created them clearly has no dearth of talent.
Leaving for a moment the unusual name of this garage and just looking at this, their “TwinTrax” motorcycle design from 2011, it’s difficult to know how to categorise their style.
