Originally released in 1967 the Norton Commando would very quickly become one of the most iconic British motorcycles of all time, the 58hp parallel twin 750cc engine pulled it up to a top speed in excess of 115mph and it won the Motor Cycle News “Machine of the Year” award for 5 successive years from 1968 to 1972.

This is one of the two original 1958 Lister-Jaguar ‘Knobbly’ Prototypes, the pair of Lister-Jaguars were ordered right off the factory floor by legendary American racer, Briggs Cunningham. The Listers were fitted with SCCA compliant, 3 litre XK Jaguar engine, this created a car that was 200lbs lighter than the D-Type Jaguar, with better weight distribution and better handling.

This 1953 Bentley R-Type Special Roadster is one of those cars that seems to be far less expensive than you might expect, with an estimated value of £50,000 to £60,000 it’s certainly not cheap, but it’s less pricey that a mass-produced 2-door Jaguar F-Type V8.
The Kawasaki GT550 was fitted with a DOHC transverse, 4-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a total capacity of 553cc, it could produce 58hp at 9,000rpm and some claim it could top out above 140mph. Power was fed to the rear wheel via a shaft drive and a 6-speed transmission, making it a slightly unusual bike for the early 1980s.

The 1954 Jaguar XK120 M Roadster was the US specification version of the famous XK Jaguar model, the 3.4 SE engine was an inline 6 cylinder capable of producing 180hp at 5300RPM. This power plant was advanced for the day and same basic engine design remained in production for decades after it was originally introduced.
