There aren’t many cars in the world more famous than the Ford GT40, the car pictured here is a Ford GT40 Series I which is one of only 31 road cars made. This is chassis P/1059 and it’s generally recognised as being the lowest mileage Series I in the world having covered just 4,749 miles from new, not surprisingly it has a 7 figure value currently estimated at between $2,300,000 – $2,700,000 USD.
Bristol is possibly the most British of the British marques, the company is almost certainly the most eccentric car maker in the world and despite this, or maybe because of it, they were in business from 1945 until 2011.

This beautiful 1962 Moretti 2500 SS Coupe with coachwork by Carrozzeria Moretti is one of only 20 to have ever been made, it’s powered by a 2500cc carburettor fed straight-6 with 170hp.
The barn find is a dream held by many, some men spend their entire lives driving around the country, visiting old widows and creaking open doors to long forgotten garages in the hope that as their eyes adjust to the darkness, they’ll see something just like this.
I love the argument that the two men on the left side of the picture are having. I assume he was saying something along the lines of “What the hell do you mean we only have 3 spare wheels?”
The 1970 Oldsmobile 442 was the result of General Motor’s decision at the beginning of the model year to drop engine capacity limitations. The 455cu or 7.5 litre engine was one of the largest V8s used during the decade and even now stands as a sort of loud testament to a time when displacement was king.
