The Honda CB750 is a venerable beast and is very popular with the kind of motorcycle owners who are never quite finished customising their bike.

It’s always great to discover an amateur builder who’s talent is easily on par with the larger custom motorcycle garages, Seth Hensler is a stand-out example of this breed of home-based vintage café racer builder.
This phenomenal looking motorcycle was designed and built by University students Roy Norton and Thomas Kashe, they wanted to create a modern bike with a retro feel, something that would appeal to a younger generation, yet offer a hat tip to the illustrious past of the Triumph Motorcycles marque.
The Goldwing isn’t the most obvious choice for a café racer custom, that said, the Goldwing cafés that I have seen built have all been very capable looking and notably handsome motorcycles.

The Harley-Davidson Sportster is a venerable beast, first introduced all the way back in 1957 the Sportster has seen countless model variations and almost limitless customisations. With all that in mind, I can’t help but be convinced that if the powers that be at Harley-Davidson just rolled a motorcycle like this out of their Milwaukee factory, the company’s fortunes would rapidly take a turn for the better.
Jason Wonder is one of those young, talented individuals that make you sit back and try to remember what you had achieved by the age of 24. This wonderful custom (yes, yes, the pun was terrible) is based on a Harley-Davidson V-Rod, however not much of the original bike remains.
The guys at Steel Bent Customs have a habit of building some of the nicest and most affordable café racers out there and this…
I love nothing more than coming across a bike that makes me stop and re-evaluate my own notions of what a specific style of bike should look like. This Honda CB350 built by the guys at Ellaspede is a genuinely innovative, modern interpretation of the café racer genre, and we really like it.
