The Nexx XG200 Offroad Desert Race Helmet is a classically-styled dual-sport motorcycle helmet made with modern materials, allowing it to pass the DOT (USA), ECE 22.05 (Europe), and NBR-7471:2001 (Brazil) helmet safety certification standards.
The larger face port of dual-sport, motocross, and off-road motorcycle helmets makes them popular with urban riders too due to the increased airflow and cooling through the larger face port. This is particularly true in areas with warmer summers and slow moving traffic.
Nexx is the European company that manufacturers their helmets locally rather than outsourcing production to Asia, they do this to ensure strict quality control over all aspects of the process, and as a result their helmets have some of the best fit and finish in the business.
The Nexx XG200 Offroad Desert Race Helmet has an X-Matrix shell, made of multiaxial fiberglass, 3D organic fibers, and special Aramid fibres with carbon reinforcement. There are two shell sizes to ensure a good fit for those with larger or smaller than average heads, and there are vents both in the chin bar and under the sun visor. The sun visor can be set to two different positions allowing you to chose the best position for your own personal preference
The helmet is held is place with a double-D ring and it has a soft anti-sweat and anti-allergic fabric inner lining with an Ergo padding system, and X-Mart dry fabrics. The XG200 weighs in at 1250 grams +/- 50 grams and sizing ranges from XS through to XXL.
