The new Tank motorcycle jacket by Spidi is a modern take on the classic ’70s era leather jacket, specifically those designed for use in cold weather. The soft, elasticised cuffs and waistband help keep the cold air out and warm air in, it also has a removable felt liner and the collar can be flicked up to keep the neck warm.
Spidi is an Italian company that made a name for themselves creating gear for professional motorcycle racers, so all of their casual gear comes with safety essentials like armour, pant clips and abrasion-resistant cowhide. The Tank jacket has built-in Forcetech EN1621-1 certified armour in the shoulders, Multitech EN1621-1 certified armour in the elbows, and a pocket for either EN1621-2 Level 1 or Level 2 certified back protectors.
