It wasn’t that many years ago that motorcyclists had to choose between good-looking gear, and gear that actually offered proper CE-certified protection. This gap in the market has slowly been filled by companies like Dainese, an Italian motorcycle gear manufacturer well-known for their hardcore MotoGP products.
The boots you see here are the relatively new Dainese Anfibio Cafe Boots, they have a cowhide upper and a non-slip leather sole, with polyurethane armour in the heel and toe box, and a nylon ankle guard.
