The Bell 500 Helmet Series has proven to be exceedingly popular, the combination of retro design with modern safety standards is an alluring blend for many motorcyclists, especially those who prefer the 3/4 face helmet style.
This design is a new one for the 2012 collection, dubbed “The Custom Cabbie” it combines a gold 70’s metal-flake paint scheme with the infamous New York checkered cab patten down the centre.
All Bell 500 Series helmets meet or exceed the US DOT Helmet Standard, so in the off chance you have a run-in with a real cabbie, your noggin will stay nice and intact.
Check the helmet out here via The Motorcycle Superstore.
