The 1965 Monaco Grand Prix was only the second race of the season, the famous street circuit turned out a classic battle and this is the full BBC coverage of the event.
Total running time is a smidge over 2 hours and the footage includes the full race with a build up segment at the beginning. As always, we publish these races on Sundays so we all have time to grab a coffee, close the door and spend a couple of hours in the days when men had moustaches, women had pointy rimmed spectacles and cars were little more than torpedoes with wheels.
Articles that Ben has written have been covered on CNN, Popular Mechanics, Smithsonian Magazine, Road & Track Magazine, the official Pinterest blog, the official eBay Motors blog, BuzzFeed, Autoweek Magazine, Wired Magazine, Autoblog, Gear Patrol, Jalopnik, The Verge, and many more.
Silodrome was founded by Ben back in 2010, in the years since the site has grown to become a world leader in the alternative and vintage motoring sector, with well over a million monthly readers from around the world and many hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.
