This is the Otto Lamp by Urban Light Factory, a small German company that specialises in rescuing vintage car and motorcycle parts and turning them into elegant desk and floor lamps.
The company is owned and run by a friendly Berliner by the name of Ulf, when he isn’t building lamps he’s restoring vintage German motorcycles or building wooden crates that the company uses for shipping its wares.
Each lamp from the Urban Light Factory comes with a history sheet telling you what vehicle the lamp started life on, each lamp is made by hand and special orders are welcome.
