Royal Enfield café racers aren’t as common as they really should be, this Enfield Bullet 500 is up for sale on eBay out of Utica, NY and the current owner sounds like he’s got his head screwed on.
The bike has always been stored indoors in a heated garage, it’s been maintained with care and has most of the official Royal Enfield “Continental Kit” installed, this kit adds the chrome fuel tank and mudguards, upgraded seat and rear sets, new more throaty exhaust and upgraded electrics throughout.
Interestingly the Royal Enfield Bullet has the longest production run of any motorcycle with production having kicked off in 1948 and continuing unabated to the modern day, albeit with technical upgrades over time. It has a single cylinder 4 valve engine producing 22hp at 5,500rpm and a listed top speed of 70mph.
