Modern outboard motors lack much of the stylistic finesse of their predecessors, this immaculately restored Neptune motor was crafted without an ounce of plastic in sight – it’s instead made from polished aluminium, brass and copper, with a hand-painted fuel tank.
It’s currently in full working order and produces 1.7 horsepower, making it suitable for use on a small dinghy or single person watercraft. It comes with the wooden display rack seen in the images, so it can also be used for decoration purposes.
