KA-BAR Knives has been in continuous operation since 1898, the company was originally based in Allegheny River in Tidioute, PA but has since moved to manufacturing plant in Olean, NY.
KA-BAR became famous during WW2 when their Fighting Utility Knife was issued as standard equipment to all US Marines, the knife lives on as a legend today and KA-BAR has become synonymous with knives that’ll survive anything.
