This incredible photograph of Robert Benoist drifting his V-12 Delage around the 1924 French Grand Prix circuit is just about the most perfect motor racing picture I’ve ever seen.
It’s great to see a car that’s now almost 100 years old getting over-steered around a dusty circuit with a swelling crowd of flat-cap wearing racing enthusiasts. If only we could have been there.
