The Suus Road Denim 450 motorcycle jacket is Australian designed and made, using single-layer 14 oz 43% UHMWPE denim (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene). This material is more abrasion resistant than Kevlar, making it ideal for use in motorcycle gear.
The team at Suus styled the jacket specifically for motorcycle use, but made sure it wouldn’t look a whisker out of place when you wear it around town. It has an adjustable waist secured with buttons, as well as adjustable cuffs, two breast pockets, and two waist pockets.
Thanks to its single-layer 14 oz UHMWPE denim construction, the jacket has a 4 second slide time on asphalt, with twin needle stitching at side seams to ensure toughness and longevity.
Suus is a low-volume manufacturer that painstakingly designs and makes each product one at a time, so quality is notably better than with many moto gear companies that are outsourcing the mass-production of their gear to third-party manufacturers in other countries. Suus is based in Melbourne, Australia and it’s run by a tight knit team that are all avid motorcyclists.
