This film runs at almost an hour in length, and it includes interviews and insights with many of the leading lights of the Australian custom motorcycle scene.
Although it isn’t often credited as such, Australia has had a signifiant influence on the modern custom motorcycle scene around the world. Websites like Bike EXIF, Pipeburn, and Return of the Cafe Racers all started out in Australia, as did the juggernaut custom motorcycle brand and clothing retailer Deus Ex Machina.
This film takes a look into the garages and personal philosophies of some of the most influential bike builders in the country including Tom Gilroy of Purpose Built Moto, Justin Holmes of Pop Bang Classics, Brado Miller at Milwerx, Matt Bromley at DVMC, Jeremy Tagand at Deus, Ian Don at Black Cat Customs, Scott Gittoes at SDG Moto, as well as Steve Barry and Leo Yip at Ellaspede.
The film includes some beautiful camerawork and footage of the bikes being ridden as they were meant to be through some spectacular scenery. The film was made by the team at Electric Bubble, with Cameron Brunt taking care of directing and Jake Ashe was the Director of Photography and the Editor, and Tom Gilroy was the narrator.
