Goodwood SpeedWeek is an all-new event created by the team at Goodwood, in light of the Covid-19 pandemic the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival both had to be cancelled, so Goodwood SpeedWeek was created to get people racing safely.

Each year Goodwood hosts some of the biggest vintage motoring events in the world with hundreds of thousands of attendees from across the United Kingdom and Europe, and around the globe.

The Goodwood Circuit is based in southern England near the town of Chichester, it originally started out as the RAF Westhampnett airfield during World War II and the first circuit was the perimeter track around the runway. During the post-WWII years it developed into one of the most important race tracks in England.

Modern racing events at both the Goodwood Circuit and at the hillclimb that goes past Goodwood House have become globally famous – thanks in part to the fantastic free live streams they put on of the races and events each year.

Goodwood SpeedWeek 2020 will be presented by former Top Gear presenter Rory Reid, Capital FM Breakfast Presenter Siân Welby, X Factor host and radio DJ Dermot O’Leary, and 2015 World Endurance Champion and nine-time Formula One race winner Mark Webber.

For obvious reasons no spectators are allowed this year however the total number of live stream viewers is likely to be the highest it’s ever been, and the racing will be no less intense.
