The Helite Turtle Airbag Vest is essentially an airbag for your torso, offering protection for your spine, back, chest, ribs, and kidneys. The Helite attaches to your motorcycle by way of a tether, and should you be thrown from your bike the vest inflates in 0.1 of a second.
The back of the vest incorporates a removable SAS-TEC back protector that’s 1621-2 certified, to help distribute impact forces across a wider area. It’s made from 600D to effectively resist abrasion, it has reflective tape for night visibility, and 1 x 60cc CO2 cartridge and 1 x motorcycle tether are included.
