They Call Him Fast Freddie is a documentary from the early days of the career of motorcycle racing legend Fast Freddie Spencer. Apart from his speed on track, Freddie is known for his easy smile and warm personality. He’s still very active in the motorcycle racing world, and he’s active on Facebook where you can stay up to date with his activities and appearances.
Freddie took 3 World Championships in his career, one in the 250 class (1985) and two in the 500 class (1983, 1985), he also managed 27 wins, 39 podiums, 33 poles, and 24 fastest laps.
He was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999, then the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2001, later the same year the FIM named him a Grand Prix “Legend”, and he was inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 2009. He’s a man with few peers and even fewer equals.
