The Return is a brand new documentary produced by Ford Performance as a look behind the curtain of their historic Ford GT program – a plan to build a modern GT40 and take it back to Le Mans.
The film comes in 3 chapters, and it offers insight from the likes of Bill Ford, Raj Nair, Dave Pericak, and Edsel B. Ford II – who attended the 1966 race with his father, Henry Ford II. The Ford GT was introduced in 2015 and is due to take part in the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans, exactly 50 years after Ford’s win at the 1966 running of the event.
